19 of the Russian's twenty-one championships have been won on hardcourt
A resurgent Medvedev claimed his initial title for over two years with success over opponent Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The athlete, a former number one, has had a torrid period, achieving just one win at the big events and suffering a difficult moment at the US Open.
Medvedev's varied form on the tennis tour - and struggles with his service game in particular - caused him dropping out of the top ten and ultimately splitting with long-term mentor Gilles Cervara.
Presently collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually improved in the last few weeks - climaxing in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over challenger Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's first trophy after the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hardcourt after spring of that year.
Victory also indicates he has won 21 championships at 21 various events.
"It's the first time I'm at a event with my children simultaneously, so to get a trophy is particularly special," commented world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in tribute of my younger daughter Victoria, because the maiden victory I won when my first daughter Alisa was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his past six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament previously this season.
Medvedev's defensive strategy and frequent outbursts on the tennis court had prompted some to question if his skill to perform at the elite level was over.
However the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the past month, making an effort to come to the net and compete aggressively, backed up by an enhanced serving game.
He fought back from a deficit in the opening set against the challenging opponent, winning 4 of the final five games to take the lead.
The competitors swapped breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, striving for his first ATP Tour victory, gained dominance to create a final set.
The opponent saved four initial chances in a competitive third set before Medvedev broke to fifteen to close out the victory.
Fittingly, Medvedev secured the win with a point at the front of the court, with the Frenchman failing to control a volley after a lengthy match.
